Wet air filters include two types of oil immersion type and oil bath type.

Oil immersion type is through an oil-impregnated filter element, the air impurities will be separated out, and its filter material has metal wire fabric, but also foam material.

The oil bath type is to suck in the dusty air into the oil pool and most of the dust is removed, and then the air with oil mist flows upward through a wire-wound filter element for further filtration, and the oil droplets and dust are stopped together to return to the oil pool. Oil bath type air filters are generally used in agricultural institutions and marine power.

There are three types of air filters: inertial, filtering and oil bath type:

① inertia type: because the density of impurities than the density of air, when the impurities with the air rotation or sharp turn, the effect of centrifugal inertia force can make the impurities from the airflow to separate.

②filtration type: guide the air flow through the metal screen or filter paper, etc., impurities will be blocked and adhered to the filter element.

③oil bath type: the bottom of the air filter is equipped with an oil pan, the use of airflow rapid rotation impact on the oil, the impurities will be separated and stick in the oil, while the oil droplets stirred up with the airflow flow through the filter element, and adhere to the filter element. The air flow filter cartridge can further adsorb impurities when the air flow, so as to achieve the purpose of filtration.
